Ever since I was small,
I've wanted little more than to make beautiful things and share them with other people.
I left Fred C. Cook Public School in 2004 with a visual arts award. In 2008, I graduated from Bradford District High School with the title Most Likely to Join Greenpeace. That hasn't happened yet.
In 2013, I completed a BFA in Film Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University, where I also shared the Norman Jewison Filmmaker Award for my thesis film and directorial debut, Tar. The film gathered a handful of laurels, including Best Short Film at Canada's premiere environmental film festival, Planet in Focus. It has since screened in festivals and schools throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.
This afforded me some great opportunities to travel the globe and work with non-profits like The David Suzuki Foundation— where I helped to create video content for some of their volunteer driven rewilding initiatives like The Butterflyway Project.
From 2015-2020, I worked alongside the artistic collective shy kids— where we collaborated on a number of award winning works in music, film and animation. I've also worked with a handful of broadcasters: like ABC (Australia), CBC, HBO and Vice; as well as brands like Canon, Coors, Cineplex, BMW and
Tim Hortons.
Still, I find nothing more gratifying than creating works in film, photography and music in hopes that someday, some may resonate with you. I'll keep working at it.
In the meantime, please take a look around. If you'd like to collaborate on something, feel free to reach out here.
